ACME III.

A One day CME was conducted on November, 19th at Ahalia Campus.
 All the speakers are the stalwarts in the field of Optometry across India.1000 students of different states TN, Kerala, Karnataka and Pondicherry participated in the CME.
 There were 22 colleges across southern India participated the ACME III.
 The ACME III consisted of talks delivered by eminent speakers, faculty and researchers in the field of Optometry that provided our students with a wealth of academic as well as competitive experience.
 A Quiz was conducted at the end of the academic sessions. Since there was a high level of competition for the ultimate prize, we had a preliminary round which was contested by 30 teams consisting of 3 students each from various Optometry colleges. They were made to compete for 7 podium spots for the grand finale of the event. In the Preliminaries, each team was challenged with 3 questions each against the timer of one minute.  In the Grand Finale of the Quiz, with the Audience of upwards of one thousand students and a dozen of stalwarts in the field of Optometry, there resulted a presenting total of seven teams fighting for Glory.  
 ESO emerged victorious taking the first place (Rs.10000 cash prize) after four intense rounds. ESO’s team was followed by 2 teams from VASAN Institute of Optometry, Chennai for 2nd (Rs.5000) and third prize (Rs.2500).
The CME was accredited by OCI for 07 Credits
